Farm Fun included singing Old Macdonald's farm and Fiddle-i-Fee, doing On the Farm Yoga, and playing Farmer tag in the gym.
Children benefit from the repetitive singing of favourite songs. It helps develop those oh so important literacy skills, such as auditory discrimination, phonological awareness, vocabulary development, and auditory memory. Students loved taking turns picking a farm animal out of the bag to find out what animal was on Old MacDonald's farm!
Pre-K students participated in Hats on for Mental Health. We loved seeing all the different kinds of hats!
We will continue with more fun on the farm next week! Dress as a farmer next Wednesday and Thursday. See more pics of this week here: April 29-May 2 pictures
