It was another week on the Farm in Pre-K! Check out all the Fun we had as we developed pre-literacy skills, built our fine and gross motor skills, and learned more about life on the farm.
The Farmer in the Dell
This was a fun song to sing and move to with our friends!
Butter Making
Muddy Pig Painting
After reading Robert Munsch's very funny story, Pigs, we made chocolate pudding to paint on pigs. What messy fun!Hopping Corn Science
We learned that farmers grow different things on the farm. Some farmers grow corn! Pre-K students participated in a couple fun corn activities. In this science experiment, students mixed water and baking soda, added a handful of popcorn, and then poured in a half cup of vinegar. It was so exciting to see the popcorn seeds dancing around in the jar!Lego stamping Corn
We also painted a cute corn craft using lego as a stamper. Pre-K students worked on important fine-motor skills while stamping, writing their names, cutting, and gluing.Happy Mother's Day!
Pre-K students very proudly worked on making a very special gift for their Moms this week. It's still top secret in case they want to surprise Mom with it on Sunday. We hope you know just how very special you are and feel very loved this weekend and always. ❤
